#HeartStuff: HOLAH angels sacrifice all for abandoned children
Updated | By East Coast Breakfast
House of Love and Hope (HOLAH) caretaker Sindi has been volunteering at the home every day for the past five years. She has sacrificed her time and family to take care of abandoned children. Jodi wrote to us asking that we help her give Sindi the honeymoon she never had due to her dedication to the children.
It's not often that you find someone who is willing to sacrifice everything to make sure that someone else is happy and taken of. We received an email from Jodie-Lee Donnison, a volunteer at HOLAH, who's in love with the organisation, the children at the home, and one lady in particular - Sindi, who is a caretaker.
"Sindy is amazing. She treats those kids as her own, EVERY SINGLE DAY!! she gives them so much love, takes them to doctors appointments and really is an incredible mother, giving up time with her own family, to be the best mom she can be to the little ones waiting for their forever family."
We invited Sindi and Jodi to join us in studio and this is what they had to say:
Sindi is a newlywed, and because of work she never gets to see her husband. If you can help make Jodi's dream for Sindi come true or wish to donate some items to the children's home, please e-mail [email protected].
