eThekwini Mayor Mxolisi Kaunda has slammed reports that he spent the festive season living it up in the Mother City. He added that although Cape Town is blessed with natural beauty like most of SA, he never set foot in Cape Town during the festive season.

According to the Oxford University Press, nearly half of 5,100 children aged six to 14 polled in the UK picked the word "Queen" as their word of the year for 2022. Coming in second and third in the annual survey were the words "happy" and "chaos", respectively.

An eThekwini municipal truck driver was arrested on Monday for allegedly stealing diesel over five years. The estimated value of the stolen fuel for just November and December was more than R200,000.
