On Monday, the SCA found that the medical parole granted to Jacob Zuma by then-prison boss Arthur Fraser was unlawful and ruled he return to jail.

Durban residents are fuming about a water outage that affected large parts of the city related to an eThekwini municipality labour dispute that has disrupted services. This comes as residents in several areas are also faced with a power outage, which the municipality said its technicians are working to restore.

KwaZulu-Natal Athletics has completed the initial investigations into alleged cheating in this year’s Comrades Marathon. Nine athletes stand to be disqualified from this year’s event. The majority of misdemeanours relate to athletes not running the entire 90km course, but also allowing other athletes to run with their race bibs and providing incorrect qualification information.
