The Rand strengthened against the Dollar yesterday, it might be because of the fact that President Cyril Ramaphosa has been elected yet again as the ANC's 15th President. Ramaphosa joins Thabo Mbeki and Jacob Zuma who were entrusted with two terms as leaders of Africa's oldest liberation movement.

Despite the continuous flow of traffic, copper thieves were able to steal cabling and fittings from more than 400 towering streetlights that illuminated the M41 from Mount Edgecombe to Umhlanga.

Ukraine’s presidential office is criticising FIFA for refusing to show a video message from President Volodymyr Zelensky in Qatar ahead of the World Cup final on Sunday. Qatar supported the President’s initiative, but FIFA blocked the initiative before the final game.
