Messages between Ward 25 councilor Themba Mkhize and a Springtown resident, a woman, asking for help circulated in community groups after he used an expletive in his reply.
In the screenshot, you can see the message asking for assistance, followed by a message saying, "Do not read my message or reply. Many families under your ward lost their homes and lives and you are not doing a thing," to which he replied with the f-word.
