South Africa continues to cry tears of pain thanks to the petrol price.
In the latest petrol price hike, motorists started paying R26.70 per litre at the pump.

With the way things are going, many South Africans are trying to look for other ways to save on fuel.
One person reckons that going electric will help bridge that gap.
Fezile Dhlamini is the founder and CEO of Green Scooter, which is a proudly South African mini mobility electric vehicle manufacturing company.
Fezile has created a vehicle that uses electricity and can be charged either by a normal two or three-phase wall socket.

These vehicles take about three and a half hours to fully charge. One charge can get you on the road for roughly 100km.

Dhlamini has compared his vehicles to that of Tesla.
"The vehicle is made of reinforced fiberglass, it is the only vehicle in its class. So we are the Tesla of three-wheels. We do perform stress testing on the safety belts,” said Dhlamini.
Is the future now for South Africans?
