Breakfast team react to fight against severe sewage crisis

The eThekwini Metro's severe sewage crisis has plagued the city for far too long, causing havoc in the ocean, threatening marine life, and posing significant health risks to the community.

Fueled by a deep love for their city and a shared commitment to safeguarding the environment, these brave individuals have joined forces to hold the eThekwini Metro accountable and demand immediate action.

According to Mail & Guardian, the Northern wastewater treatment disgorges sewage into the Umgeni River, which flows into the sea, polluting the city’s popular beaches.

The sewage crisis in Durban is not just a local concern; it is an ecological time bomb waiting to explode.
