Eastern Cape Liquor Board condemns viral video
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, rulebreakers and super spreader events have still been causing major issues. The latest one comes from East London, where people were clearly feeling some kind of way about the booze ban and just seemed to throw caution to the wind the moment it was slightly adjusted.
The video was posted on Twitter and has quickly made the rounds. Almost all of the individuals in the video are maskless, shouting “buvuliwe” (it's open), and not even social distancing.
Watching this video, one would almost believe it was taken before the pandemic even happened. You can see it for yourself right here:
I post this for the Einstein that rushed to respond to my earlier tweet without even reading. This was last night in East London. I repeat, these celebrations WILL end in tears. pic.twitter.com/5i0EYlIVXK

The National Consumer Commission investigating seven major retailers
The National Consumer Commission’s warning comes amid investigations into seven leading retail stores in the country, accused of price gouging on ginger and garlic. The investigation follows an outcry by consumers in the media, including social media platforms. There has been an increase in demand for ginger and garlic as many people are using these to boost their immune systems to fight COVID-19.

'The Simpsons' like you've never seen them before
The introduction to 'The Simpsons' is iconic and instantly recognisable. Now, a Twitter user has recreated the entire opening of the show using only stock footage. The result is a surprisingly accurate video that shows plenty of creativity.

Bobby Bulloch receives a permanent time out
Scottish Football commentator, Bobby Bulloch, was sacked while commentating on Hamilton Accies' loss against Ross County on Wednesday. He has been dismissed after he apologised for being late after half-time because he'd gone for a bathroom break. He said: “So sorry about that…I hadn’t pressed the button, I went away for a jobby at half-time, excuse my term of language."
He even goes into a little bit more detail about his trip but no-one needs to know any more about that...
