10 childhood movie facts that will have you like "That is new!"

You will be blown away by how much magic really goes into making movies.
If you were no stuck on the television watching Cartoon Network or Disney Channel, you were waiting for the other movie channels to play these movies.
When Shrek premiered, not only the little children fell in love with the characters and the storyline but the parents who went to the cinema with the kids also. Some of these movies still remain an all-time go-to in terms of watching movies on a blue day.

There are always some behind-the-scenes information we might not know. Well, here we share those with you. We were actually shocked by some of these. Bet you, Darren's Mouse will also be shook by some of these.

1. Initially Anne Hathaway refused to sing in Ella Enchanted because she thought it would be too "cheesy." But after finding the a perfect song — "Somebody to Love" — she forfeited and agreed to singing.

2.The screenwriter of Bridge to Terabithia, David L. Paterson is actually the author's son. Katherine Paterson wrote the book the movie is based on — and it is actually based on Paterson's childhood and the death of his best friend.

3. The animators of the amazing food film, Ratatouille, kept pet rats in the studio to study their movements to get Remy, the main character right.

4. Remember that joyous scene in Enchanted where they performed "That's How You Know" ? That scene took 17 days to complete because of the bad weather which kept interrupting the filming.

5. There were actually four cats that played Fat Louie, Mia's cat in The Princess Diaries — one to be carried, one to be still, one to move, and one to sit on cue. Now, that's cool and new!

6. Rupert Grint was originally cast as Austin Ames in the movie starring Hilary Duff, A Cinderella Story, but had to pull out in order to shoot Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, so Chad Michael Murray scored the role.

7. In the movie, The Lizzie McGuire Movie, the singing voice of Isabella was actually provided by Hilary Duff's older sister, Haylie Duff.

8. Mike Myers who voices Shrek originally didn't originally use a Scottish accent. After seeing a rough cut of the movie he requested to redo all his lines with the new accent, and producers loved it and thought it made the movie more powerful.

9. Chad played by Corbin Bleu, couldn't play basketball at all. He carried a ball around everywhere — even to bed — so that he looked more natural with one in High School Musical.

10. The director of The Incredibles, Brad Bird, made sure to have Spencer Fox, who voiced Dash, to run laps around the recording studio to precisely capture Dash being out of breath.
