World's ugliest dog, Mr Happy Face, is a sight for sore eyes...

Jokes aside, he really is some kind of special...
Everyone knows there's no such thing as an ugly dog, it's like saying that there's such a thing as an ugly baby.
But it seems when it comes to world firsts, there is always something wacky being added to the list.
On that note, we heard about the World's Ugliest Dog, Mr Happy Face (ironic name, we know) took the title recently and we found him to be quite endearing...
Mr Happy Face was adopted ten months ago by 41-year-old Arizona musician, Jeneda Benally.
She wanted to either have a baby or adopt a dog during the pandemic, and it seemed that it was meant to be for her and this loving little fur ball.
When she was introduced to Mr Happy Face, she found out that he was not only a survivor of abuse and neglect, but had poor health conditions and didn't have long to live.
"The shelter staff tried to prepare me for what I was about to see. I saw a creature who was indeed old, needed a second chance and deserved to be loved.” (MSN)
In fact, she also shared that love and an abundance of kisses have helped him outlive the timeframe that he was given.
A true testament to the fact that love can really prolong one's lifespan.
If it can happen with animals, then it can most certainly happen for humans...
