Who are the better drivers? Men or women...
Updated | By East Coast Radio
A question that really gets the room talking, but surprisingly there are similarities between many women and men drivers.
As far back as we know, there has always been a debate about who holds the reins when it comes to being the better driver. Well, according to a survey done by the American Automobile Association (AAA), men are more aggressive drivers. It was found that men outpace women in almost all aggressive driving categories recorded. Hold on though, before you get everything in a twist...
Interestingly enough, a local survey done by 1st for Women Insurance revealed that female drivers resonated quite closely with the survey done by the AAA. Yes, it is true - you can close your mouths now.
Head of 1st for Women Insurance, Seugnette van Wyngaard, says: Our research revealed that women frown upon reckless activities such as tailgating (8.3%), running red lights (11.1%), and dangerous lane switching (2.8%), but do admit to speeding (47.2%) and aggressive hooting (25%).- Seugnette van Wyngaard

Perhaps it isn't who is the better driver that we should be focusing on and rather encourage an all-around safer type of driver? Wouldn't that be something to brag about - being the safest driver in the room?
Look, we all go through moments where we grind our teeth or scream in the car, but what matters is how we avoid this or better yet, change and move on from it. You've got to admit that all it does is get you in a not-so-great mood...
Get up earlier if you need to and check-in with the traffic team before you decide on your route.
