WEIRD! Woman hatches duckling from supermarket eggs
Updated | By East Coast Radio
A woman brings home a tray of duck eggs from the supermarket and ends up hatching one of them...
Adele Phillips, a 28-year-old woman from Port Talbot, UK, was scrolling over TikTok one day and saw someone who bought a duck egg and was attempting to hatch it. So, she thought, "I'll have a go."
And boom, she came home from work one day and there was little Braddock Morris. The little fella is named after the breed of eggs that she had purchased (Braddock) and Morris after the name of the supermarket (Morrisons).
Adele went to her local Morrisons Supermarket to buy the duck eggs in the hopes of incubating them and hatching them. She put the eggs in her airing cupboard and went on to buy an incubator. She then went online and researched how to hatch an egg, where she learned that you can tell if the egg is still fertile in 10 days.
Thirty days later, out came little Braddock Morris!
Wow, we didn't know these things could happen, but Adele is proof...
