#WCW: This young chef says that if she could be any ingredient, it would be butter...

We think she hit the nail on the head with that one...
We've heard Carol Ofori chat about her great sweet escapes, but one of the places that she spoke about that had her and hubby feeling nostalgic was Granny Mouse Country House in the Midlands.
This place is quite special for the couple as they got married there and celebrated their eight-year anniversary at the cottage.
Check out some snaps from their visit there, courtesy of Instagram.
One of the things that Carol raved about on her anniversary stay was the food - and we have to say that says a lot about the place.
Therefore, it comes as no surprise to us that the young and talented chef who is responsible for the great food is a woman we are crushing on today.
Lebo Mpuang was born in Cape Town but lived in Johannesburg for a large part of her life.
After graduating from "Capsicum Culinary Studio in 2014. She completed her level 2 diploma in food preparation, NQF Level 2 professional patisserie, international level and graduated with merit". (Sowetan)
She then took the opportunity to travel the world to explore her art form. Of course, any great chef or foodie will tell you that travel and exploration of other cultures through food is the greatest school.
Upon her return, she decided to open up her own private cooking studio, teaching people how to create with food.

Sadly, due to COVID-19, Mpuang had to close her business. But in 2021 she came to KZN and found this great gig at Granny Mouse Country House.
When asked by the Sowetan what sets Durban apart from other provinces in the culinary sector, she responded by saying: "Durban consumers are more laid back."
More than that, we loved how she said that if she were to be an ingredient, she would be butter. When asked why, she said, "It makes everything taste better." (Sowetan)
