#WCW: Umhlanga mom and influencer Payal Ramdhial celebrates her passions
Updated | By East Coast Radio
A flavourful chat between uMhlanga mom influencer and Carol Ofori...
Carol Ofori speaks to this week's woman crush, Payal Ramdhial.
She is the owner and creator of The Healthy Plate, and is a food and lifestyle blogger that strives to bring her audience the inspiration needed to live happier and healthier lives.
She started her blog in 2019 to keep herself busy after having her first child. And it turned into something more...
This inspired her to start 'The Healthy Plate' in 2020, where she continues to translate her passion for food, lifestyle, and fashion into gorgeous moments.
Payal inspires her followers with wholesome, well-balanced recipes, beauty and fitness tips, women empowerment, true life motherhood, and more.
Payal's favourite part of being an influencer and a full-time mum to two boys is the freedom and believes that it makes every day completely different from the last.
Which we believe can be blessing and a curse. Blessing because sometimes it can be challenging, whilst other times it can be so fruitful and fulfilling.
Though it can be challenging to stay on her toes from a creative standpoint, she says that’s also the most fun part of the job!

Payal prefers to consider herself an inspirer as opposed to an influencer.
She is soon to be launching her cookbook partnered with the famous publisher ThatFoodGuy (amazing publisher behind DStv Festival, My Kitchen Rules, and Masterchef).
You can check out more about her and her brand on her website here.
Check out one of her hearty recipes here.
