#WCW: Serving the community, one scrunchie at a time
As women, we need to stand up and unite for one another.
Meet the wonderful Peach Piche - a businesswoman, mother of five, and founder of Drinkerbell, who came to have a chat with Carol Ofori on Wednesday.
Piche is out there inspiring many women and men to keep themselves safe when it comes to the dangers of getting your drink spiked.

Piche launched Drinkerbell for a couple reasons.
"After my daughter Skyla’s drink was spiked, she nearly died. That prompted me to want to save as many girls as I could from the trauma, so I started a passion project and called it Drinkerbell," she said.

Launching this initiative, Piche wanted to achieve the following: prevent drink spiking, create jobs, and fund trauma counselling.
Piche has been raising awareness and taking a stand against drink spiking, as it happens a lot more than people realise.

She also wants to end the myth that it only happens to young girls. Anyone can have their drink spiked.
Recent reports from Umhlanga have highlighted what a problem this is and it has fuelled a passion to do more.
Drinkerbell is a lifestyle product for girls to cover their drinks and prevent being spiked.
Piche has even launched the Drinkerbell Community, a safe place for people to come forward, share their stories, and get support.

The Drinkerbell Foundation requires funds to assist with counselling, blood tests, polygraph tests, and legal and operational costs.
Piche is also a public speaker and has now decided to use her voice to stand up against drink spiking.
By turning the mess that's going on into a message and changing the narrative that girls should be silenced or ashamed, the perpetrators can be put behind bars.
