WCW: Owner of 'The Village' has created a place for moms
Updated | By East Coast Radio
Carol Ofori celebrates Bron Veale, the owner of The Village - a bespoke community for mothers.
There's that saying, 'it takes a village to raise kids'. It has always resonated with us, as the truth is parenting doesn't just come from mom and dad.
It comes with having a support structure. In other words, a village. From mom and dad to grandparents, to teachers and nannies, and let's not forget other mommies and daddies.
Well, one mother who saw a gap in the parenting portal decided that she was going to create The Village... and the mothers would come. Her real-life name is Bron Veale, but to her kids, she is mommy.
When we asked Bron to share a bit about herself, she said that she has a passion for people.
This is why Carol Ofori decided to host Bron in the studio this week and celebrate her as our Woman Crush.
Bron decide that just as she wanted to make more time for family, other moms might want to do the same. But as we all know, it does take having a solid support structure of any kind to make that possible.
I have a huge passion for people and worked as a Wedding Photographer for the last 11 years. After having my son, I realised I needed to change the chapter of my life and make more time for my own family on weekends again.- Bron Veale

This is the very reason she created The Village - a place for like-minded mothers to convene and engage with one another.
The Village hosts a baby boutique, a private cafe area for members, and a child-play area for babies up to the age of two. Located at the Sunningdale Shopping Centre off Umhlanga Rocks Drive, Bron has created a space that oozes calm and serenity.
She has qualified minders who can help with your baby, whilst you do some work at the workstations provided, or even take time to play with your baby.
In addition, she hosts events, workshops, and talks on a regular basis for the different areas of pregnancy and parenting. (The Village)
