#WCW: The Lazy Makoti and Carol Ofori bake Malva Pudding for Easter
Updated | By East Coast Radio
Yummy, yummy, yummy, we sure got some love in our tummies...
We are definitely dessert people. So when we heard that our very own Carol Ofori was going to join best selling cookbook author and chef extraordinaire, Chef Mogau Seshoene aka The Lazy Makoti, in a baking soirée, we had to celebrate them both.
In preparation for Easter, they made a Malva Pudding from scratch.
It was the perfect recipe for the weather and it certainly left our mouths watering...
Now, if you haven't heard about The Lazy Makoti, then you must be living under a rock, but we forgive you.
She is a trained chef and cookbook author, who believes in bringing people together with food. Now she's our type of person...
"She founded The Lazy Makoti in 2014 after leaving the corporate world to focus on her love for food. What began as lessons for a friend, a bride-to-be who was afraid of being labelled “The Lazy Makoti” (the lazy daughter-in-law) because she couldn’t cook, evolved into a business, and inspired its name." (The Lazy Makoti)
Her patience and chilled approach to creating recipes is certainly welcomed by busy moms and dads. And her accolades speak for themselves.
