#WCW: "I believe every child has the ability to learn like Lethu..."
Updated | By East Coast Radio
A beautiful bond is created when you are patient and sincere with your children...
If you are a fan of TikTok, then you must've come across our very own South African child genius?
Her name is Lethukuthula and her mom, Ntombikayise Bhengu, is a superstar. Young Lethu is a mere two years old and already knows how to read!
The two have made a splash on the social media platform sharing how Lethukuthula loves to read. Her ability to consume knowledge is pretty much inspiring for her age.
We caught up with momma bear, Ntombikayise, and she shared some insight with us about her child prodigy.
Ntombikayise is a 29-year-old mother who took it upon herself to research methods to teach her toddler. She has experience in tutoring Mathematics and Physical Science, but has no prior experience in teaching toddlers.
She is just a mother with a passion for helping her child learn and be the best she can be.
Her main objective has been to tailor the research to help Lethukuthula how to read.
I have put the most effort into researching how to teach her how to read, then used what worked for us.- Ntombikayise Bhengu

We asked her to share a motivational quote with us and she shared this:
""Early childhood education is the key to the betterment of society." - Maria Montessori
One of the things that we find Ntombi saying and assuring other parents of is that every child is capable of learning like Lethu. But doing the work, being consistent, and remembering that each child works at a different pace is important.
