#WCW: Heels and Wheels, a women empowering event by Jayshree Parasuramen
The ultimate motor show for women...
We're all familiar with Miss Jay, as Carol Ofori calls her, but we're not sure if you are aware of one of her other passions...Women Empowerment. She isn't just the entertaining traffic queen, but also has a passion for hosting a variety of women empowerment events.
Her most recent event, Heels and Wheels, is definitely needed, because despite what you may think, not all motor enthusiasts are male...There is a growing audience of female car fanatics that have been yearning for a space in the motor show market.
This is just something that Jayshree Parasuramen noticed was lacking for females, and decided to come together with several sponsored partners to create an event that is said to be the largest of its kind in South Africa.
The event will include opportunities for both young girls and women to get involved in the technical aspects around cars. From changing a tyre to learning more about sound in your car, when it comes to the sound off car competitions.
