WATCH: When a young boy reminds us what it means to be a gentleman...
Updated | By East Coast Radio
When this little man took his hat off for the Disney princesses, he taught us a thing or two about being respectful...
Our little ones are definitely the ones that teach us and remind us of what is important daily. Whether that is being kind, honest or just being a good human, they literally shake us back to 'life' when we really need it.
It's almost as if they know when we are straying off the path and need to get back to reality. Sometimes our day-to-day stresses can make us forget about what's important and we need that reminder.
We are familiar with the ideology that our children choose us as parents, whether that means to teach us something or lead us down the path of finding out what we are supposed to be, we don't actually know for sure. But we do know that as we grow, we sometimes forget and lose that innocence that we have as kids.
That innocence plays such a huge role in us being the best we can be. As we approach Heritage Day, Carol Ofori has taken on the task of finding out her ancestral heritage, which is a huge deal. It will bring out a whole new chapter of getting to know her history.
When we saw this video, it really jerked us back into reality, thinking about what is really important in life. Those small things that we sometimes don't give much attention to but are truly the markers of what makes us human.
We wanted to remind you of what it means to be kind, to be respectful, and this little boy reminded us what it means to be a gentleman (and ladies we could learn from this, too). We loved it! It shows us that even with all the chaos that is going on around us, the small acts of kindness make the biggest differences.
