Having kids can be really stressful, of course they bring such joy and light into our lives.
But dealing with their explorative minds and their active and daring patterns of behaviour can be nerve-wrecking, to say the least...

That is why watching this video literally left our knees feeling weak, and our palms sweaty...
Sabit Shontakbaev was walking to work with a friend and noticed a child dangling off the rims of the window on the eighth floor of an apartment building.
Without fully thinking his plan through, he acted from a place of instinct, he ran up and gained access to the apartment below where the child was and climbed out the window.
His friend held his legs as he did not have a safety harness.
"At that moment I didn’t think about anything, I just wanted to help the child.’ Sabit insists he is not a hero and humbly left the scene as he was late to work." (Instagram)
Really, now that's one humble guy...

This was definitely a happy ending, but not just for the child and family, but also for Sabit and his family. He has been working in the city and sending money home to his family.
And his good deed didn't go unnoticed. He not only received a medal for his heroism but also a 3-bedroom apartment and a TV.
So now his family can join him in the city of Kazakhstan.
