WATCH: No 'happily ever after' for this fox: Jamie Foxx isn't keen on marriage
Updated | By East Coast Radio
Was he on your fantasy list?
We remember Jamie Foxx in his younger days when comedy was his main call card and then boom, boom, pow, he transitioned his brand in such a slick way. He wasn't just the funny guy anymore, he was the cool guy, the muso, the actor, and now even an author.
With all his success comes a sense of realism as well, as he recently shared that he is not looking for a cookie cutter lifestyle. That life that featured "the 2.5 children, the wood paneling on the station wagon and the cottage, I didn't think that was for me." (Jamie Foxx on MSN)
He believes that his two kids, Corinne (27) and Annalise (12), have benefitted from his approach. As much as we love a good romance story, the reality and dynamic behind each relationship is different.
Marriage doesn't always equate to happiness. Different strokes for different folks, right? Jamie Foxx admits that he isn't keen on the pressure to get married, we can agree that many people associate happiness and the concept of happily ever after with being married. But the truth is, it's not for everyone...
A lot of those marriages ended up not doing well as the kids got older. Unfortunately, we saw the kids get fractured from their families. Us, we actually came together more. So I don’t know what that is, I just know that it is different but it’s a whole lot of love.- Jamie Foxx

He has begun his book tour today and shared that his book entitled, 'Act like you got some sense', is available for sale. If you are a fan then you can purchase the book online, but that's all you are going to get from this hottie for now. No promises of marriage, just growth...
In my book you will read about how I was raised by my no nonsense grandmother. The pitfalls of my early time in hollywood and what I learned from both of these worlds to raise my two amazing daughters.- Jamie Foxx
