WATCH: Mother doesn't have childcare so she brings her toddler to job interview
Updated | By East Coast Radio
A mom turns to TikTok to share a very unique and welcomed experience with a job interview at a very forward thinking company.
The effects of COVID-19 have been massive for everyone; from losing jobs, to losing family members, to having to adapt to new ways of living. It can only be described as having the carpet ripped out from under your feet...
When it comes to the job market, things have been pretty much unsettling for many people, with many businesses having to let go of their employees. As much as it is such a sad thing, it's also been uncontrollable, both for businesses and employees.
This mom shared that she had lost her job due to COVID-19 and then managed to scoop a second interview. The only thing that she was facing now is a thing that many parents can relate with - she didn't have any childcare for her little boy.
She informed the company that this is what she was facing and low and behold, they shocked her with a very surprising response. They told her that they were a child-friendly company and that she should bring her child with for the interview.
Are you still sitting up or have you fell off your chair? We are so amazed that there are companies that cater for this kind of culture.
