WATCH: Man hugs, pets, and kisses a lion!
Who knew Simba grew up and made a human friend...
We've seen some crazy videos of lions and their predacious nature. And, of course, we associate these creatures with danger.
So, even though it may be exciting to see wildlife in reality, it is certainly a no-no for us when it comes to getting up-close-and-personal with lions.
Let's watch from afar and enjoy their beauty from there.
But we have found a guy who doesn't seem to be familiar with the concept of fear.
In a video, he is seen bonding with a lion in the same way one might play with a dog.
He pets the lion and hugs him, and even kisses the large cat. Whilst all the time the lion closes his eyes in enjoyment.
As much as we may not be first in line to be this close to a lion, it does soften the way we look at this fierce beast.
And it also goes to show how sometimes wild animals can make a connection with humans in a positive and loving way.
