A man in Florida has spoken out after he was jailed for one month.
James Nix Jr. was arrested after killing his neighbour's rooster, in what he claims was "self-defence".
James has expressed his thoughts on the matter in a video on Hollywood Unlocked.

He was arrested for animal cruelty for killing "Bigg Roo" the rooster.

In the video, Nix said that he was just defending himself from being attacked by the rooster.
This has definitely ranked as one of the most bizarre moments of the week.

According to the local laws stated on www.gov.za, in South Africa, the Animals Protection Act 71 of 1962 aims to consolidate and amend all laws relating to the prevention of animal cruelty.
