Cardi B officiates at a same-sex marriage on National Coming Out Day...
Saying 'I do' is a special moment. When you take away all the décor, the table settings, the fancy food, and the guest list, it's just about you and your special person.
That one person that you have made a commitment to, your partner in life, and the person that you want to spend the rest of your days with. For some, this day marks the start of a new chapter in your life, and for these two women, it truly was a start of something symbolic and iconic.
Not just because they were engaged and married on the same day, but also because they appeared on Cardi B's Facebook series, Cardi Tries. But it doesn't end there, as Cardi B also officiated at their wedding ceremony, officially marrying them and the ringbearer was the one and only Raven-Symoné.
The 11th of October marked National Coming Out Day and in honour of that day, both Cardi B and Raven-Symoné paired up to help a same-sex couple say their 'I do's' to one another. We loved the sentiment behind it all, because this day is in support of the LGBQTI+ community and to celebrate two people sharing their 'I do's' on such a day is a true celebration of love in all its forms.

The thing is that as much as we all come from our set of values and beliefs, it doesn't discredit the fact that how you love may be different to how someone else loves.
And the support and love that we give to each other, no matter what community we come from, ultimately brings a sense of unity to all our lives. Love is Love, no matter what colour, culture, gender or sexuality we come from and that should be the driving force of our daily lives...
