#ThankfulTuesday: Heartwarming story of how a man saved a pup from a dump
Updated | By East Coast Radio
Young Amari has been reunited with her saviour...
A life without our furry friends can be more than just dull. It can be described as a life without passion and purpose.
Because if we have to be completely honest, we secretly live in a world where our pets understand us better than people do.
If you are shaking your head right now, then you are obviously not one with your pet and will never understand...
So to hear about the way our furry friends come into our lives is somewhat of a love story for us.
Especially this story about young Amari, a puppy that was found on a dumpsite in Marikana in June this year.
Zola Mceka found Amari and took her to the Animal Welfare Society. He also pledged a weekly amount of R20 to help pay for her medical treatment.
If you see the condition that Amari was in when Zola first brought her to the AWS, you may just cry. But we want to stop you from crying sad tears and rather have happy ones.
Look at the remarkable bond that these two had from their first meet. It's as if she knew he was her knight in shining armour from the very beginning.
Zola didn't just commit to financially helping in Amari's rehabilitation, but he made an effort in coming to visit her often, which has helped tremendously in her recovery.
Check out a picture of when she was brought in to her condition presently.

These two were reunited last week and their bond is now finally sealed as they have become a family.
This story isn't just heartwarming, but also is a true testament to the benefits of love and how it can help heal all areas of life.
