We have to admit that there are times where we willingly hand over our phones to the kids so that we can shower without having to rush, or use the loo without them wanting to enter.
But sometimes we have to go through stuff to learn from them. As much as our kids are learning about life and everything else in between, so are we...
When we saw this mother share her story to TikTok, it got us thinking about those learning moments, because there's no doubt that this is a teachable moment for all of us.
She handed her phone over to her toddler, with the intention of keeping her occupied while she took a shower. Something that many of us can relate to. Not ideal, but we do what we have to when we have to. If you know, you know. If you don't, don't judge...

I gave my toddler my cell phone to play a game while I took a shower. It was a preschool learning game that she plays often. Next thing I know she is knocking on my door asking me to help her fix something.

Many other mothers came to the comments section to help her feel better, with comments such as:
I" thought maybe she just charged some game money to your card. I wasn't prepared for this," laughed another.

Nevertheless, we feel for you mama and other moms and dads, that's a lesson right there...
