PARENTING: "My 7-year-old pays rent and electricity and it has taught him about the value of money"
Updated | By East Coast Radio
Would you think about implementing this in your home as a parent?
If there is one thing that you all know by now it has got to be that Carol Ofori is a firm believer in the philosophy that each person is entitled to their own way of doing things.
Of course, our Bad Moms Club feature is there for her to share her thoughts in a fun and upbeat way with other parents, so that we can all have a laugh and at the same time relate over the life of parenting.
Another thing that we fully advocate for is sharing, and this mother decided to share a parenting hack that seems to be working for her. She has a seven-year-old son and she is a single mother, so we can understand how finding order and routine is even more important for her.
She shared a video of how she charges her son rent, electricity, and internet usage. She has been using this method to teach him about the value of money and so far it seems to be working out well. She assigns him a list of tasks daily and if he completes them then he gets one dollar.

There are many parents that follow a similar style of parenting with their kids, as we have seen on previous episodes of Bad Moms Club. We love that this is working out for her and that she shared it, because some parents appreciate the guidance.
Some didn't appreciate her advice and were quick to come to the comments with their negative comments, but if you don't have at least one troll trolling, then you doing something wrong...
Nevertheless, we welcome the advice, and many people agreed with us as the video got more than 2.7-million views.
Well done, mama!
