Carol Ofori can firmly say that she has been in this mother's shoes when it comes to her son and ordering stuff online. The only difference is that for this mom it was furniture and for Carol it was fans...
A mother had added a few chairs to her online shopping cart, just items that she was interested in. All good in the hood, right? Wrong...
After her son got a hold of her phone, he ended up ordering all the chairs...
"A toddler from New Jersey spent nearly $ 2 000 (R 30 000) on furniture from Walmart after playing on his mom's phone. Pramod Kumar and his wife, Madhu, told CNN they were confused when they started receiving large boxes at their front door." (Business Insider)
However, Pramod thought it was his wife and she thought it was him. But they were none the wiser that it was actually their 22-month-old son, Ayaansh. As he was playing on the phone, he ended up proceeding to checkout...
"Madhu said in the interview that the customer service helper found the situation funny and Walmart is willing to help the family to return the unopened boxes." (Business Insider)
