What a beautiful moment between grandson and grandfather...
The bond between grandparents and grandchildren is very different from the bond that is shared with parents and kids. It has been described as that kind of bond that allows grandparents to serve as a wise and all seeing being, a confidante and a friend.
All the values and the important lessons are taught by the grandparents, they have that special and unique way of parenting, grandparenting...Get it, it's just a grand way of parenting.
So when this grandson decided to surprise his grandfather with a special tattoo, it was a moment that strengthened their bond indefinitely.
He wrote:
"I felt in my heart that I should honor you & thank you in some way. You are an amazing grandpa & I am extremely honored to have you in my life. Stay strong and be that person full of light! I love you.” (Twitter)

It was so sweet to see the way the grandfather reacted to seeing the tattoo, it was a kind gesture. It was lovely to see how a grown grandchild can still appreciate their grandparents.
