Mother plans surprise Grinch visit for her kids but it doesn’t go as planned…
Who would do such a thing though?
There are several things that we do as parents to entertain our children. Sometimes we make good calls, sometimes great calls, and then other times, not so much…
This is what happened with a mother from Northern Ireland, who saw an ad posted by an actor who was playing the Grinch. She thought it would be fun for her kids, paying reference to the Dr. Seuss character that dislikes Christmas.
So she hired the actor to come over and entertain her children. What was advertised as something that would be engaging and fun, turned into a true-life Grinch gone wild.
“According to the advertisement, he was meant to mess up the children’s beds, have a pillow fight, and wrap toilet paper around the tree.” (MSN)
But that was far from what transpired. He came in dressed as the Grinch alright, but he ended up taking his role too seriously as he trashed the home, her décor, and her pricey cupcakes, not to mention pouring juice all over her son!
Talk about taking your role too seriously…

She posted her disappointing experience to her Facebook page and included pics. We’re not sure if this Grinch will have any more bookings after this, or maybe it was all part of the package that she didn’t read?
