Mexican in SA shares another thing he loves about Mzansi

"You know what else I love about South Africa..."
Nothing quite compares to a tourist or foreigner showing their love for South Africa.
It not only allows us to put a feather in our caps, but it also reminds us to always walk with gratitude with what we have in our country.
Because as much as it might seem easy to bash SA for all that we don't have, the grass is not always greener on the other side.
Mexican-American TikToker who focuses his TikTok content on his experiences in South Africa shared some insight into why he loves South Africa.
And, of course, we were all about listening to his input.
He shared a video earlier this month about just another reason why he loves our country - and it had to do with the pricing at grocery stores.
He went on to say that what you see an item priced at in South Africa is what you pay for it.
As opposed to in the States where on some occasions, what you see an item priced at excludes tax, so when you get to the cashier, you end up paying more than you bargained for.
Take a look at him sharing his love for our prices. Courtesy of TikTok:
@mexicaninsa One thing I love about South Africa, is that I don't have to worry about doing some calculations or math before I pay for items! 😅🤣 The price is the price, as it should be. 😊😉❤🇿🇦🙏 Best Country! 🇿🇦 I hope they enjoyed the KitKats those are my favorite! 😊 #southafrica #southafricantiktok #livingabroad #cultureshock ♬ Gangnam Style - Myth Remix - Mythbeatz

Check out how Mzansi responded to his video, sharing their own insight:
SKY: "We even check the price as it gets scanned. If it's different we stop everything 🗣️"call the supervisor""
Terry Godana: "In south Africa if it said 13.99 and I got there and it wasn't 13.99 trust me I'm going home with a 13.99 product. Even if it's a tv"
Meisie Maraba: "And in South Africa if the cash register says it’s more than the price you saw, you pay for what you saw not what the cash register says…😝"
Buleh Ndevu: "The only acceptable thing is if the price is lower than what we saw but higher... Never.. We're shutting the whole store down!"
