Mark Fish's son estranged from the Fish family...
Updated | By East Coast Radio
Mark Fish's son, Luke Fish, has broken away from the Fish family name and all...
We know Mark and Loui Fish as the couple that partied it up, shared their fame and fortune, flashed up Fish's football success in true royalty... but is it safe to say that sometimes we show people what we want them to see?
A recent expose by their eldest son, Luke Fish, breaks that illusion that we have been privy to all these years. Luke Fish has made a decision to remove himself from the Fish name and now goes by Seth Omen...
Luke/Seth has usurped a journey of self-discovery, taking time out to heal mentally. His whole appearance has evolved since we last remember the handsome young lad with a brush back hairdo and blue starry eyes.
Loui Fish says that she fully supports her son's breakaway from the family. "Everybody knows about our past, I mean, you had to live under a rock not to know what the Fish family went through. This is my son's career and these are his experiences."
The 23-year-old now goes by his alter-ego Seth Omen and is now a rapper, with his music revolving around his trauma as a child. Seth speaks about mental health and how "more and more people are experiencing depression," reports YOU.
It wasn't all luxe and glamour in their household as many people assumed; he was bullied as a kid, as they moved around a lot in search of ventures that Mark would pursue after he retired from his international football career.
"All these people thought I had it all, but that wasn't the case."
Seth speaks about the close bond that he has with his mother. She has always supported his music, which he says is his therapy. Seth says that he doesn't really have a relationship with his father and can't remember the last time they spoke.
YOU spoke to Mark, who said: "I wish Luke all the best."
Loui has been a mum and dad for her boys, Luke/Seth and Zeke, and she says that they both connect with music. They often bounce ideas off one another.
Seth speaks about music with such passion. He says that music is his outlet. "If you listen to my music, it's an outlet for feelings you wouldn't really share with people - it's the stuff you can't get off your chest because you fear you'll be judged," he told YOU magazine.
Seth is trying to shine a light on mental health and illness, it's something he has had to work on personally, so who better to know about how to heal than someone who has had to start healing themselves. "One in every four people have a mental health disorder," he says.
We hope that this is a new chapter for the family and that they can heal from all the trauma.
