The Maletsatsi Foundation and little Kgotso team up with Afrodaddy to help with school fees
Updated | By East Coast Radio
Do you remember little Kgotso, the two-year-old who got us feeling all mushy when he was videoed making breakfast at 3am in his mother's bedroom? Well, his family is back and they need help.
A few weeks ago, we featured little Kgotso on our website. He was first seen making his favourite breakfast in his mother's bedroom at 3am. The two-year-old stole our hearts and so we got in touch with his mother who runs The Maletsatsi Foundation.
LISTEN to little Kgotso share some info about his favourite breakfast and school:
We know the famous AfroDaddy from Cape Town as a father who is engaged and present in his parenting. He invites other dads to connect with him and brings a sense of "relax" to parenting.
"AfroDaddy is a place for parents, especially dads, to come together and share in the 'duality of parenting' - the fact that being a parent can be fantastic, wonderful and beautiful while simultaneously being exhausting, frustrating and awful," the AfroDaddy website states.
We love the sentiment behind his content and we have to agree that South Africa is definitely lacking when it comes to daddy blogs. So to see things from a father's perspective is quite endearing and we are sure it is helpful to many dads out here.
He did a livestream fundraising event last year and it did so well that he has decided to do another one this Friday for The Maletsatsi Foundation. He brings humour and fun into his videos and he's so relatable, so we are hoping that he can reach his target of R120,000 for the foundation's school fees.
