Durbanite tennis player breaking the boundaries with her talents...
Celebrating Durbanites is obviously something that is very much engrained in our DNA.
And it is only right that we take every opportunity to celebrate them with pride, considering they are from home. But it is even more of a cause to celebrate when it is young females that are pushing their limits and making their names standing out.
In this case, it is Kaitlyn Ramduth that has been serving up aces in style...
After returning from Egypt for the African Junior Teams Championships, she declared that it was so amazing playing on a clay court.
Her passion for tennis actually started after watching a game between Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova and seeing their dedication to the game.
One of the reasons that parents encourage their kids into sports is because it teaches them many life lessons.
And Carol Ofori made sure to ask Kaitlyn some life questions about how she deals with losing and steering her way around sports.
LISTEN to her conversation with Carol below.
P.S. Carol asked Kaitlyn's coach about what signs to watch out for when it comes to spotting a tennis star in the making with your kids, and you won't believe what he said...
