K-Drama: Black girl from SA shares her Korean love story
Love comes in all shapes, forms, and sizes - and we love how it breaks down racial boundaries.
We came across this video of a young woman sharing her love story in Korea and it reminded us to be thankful.
Through everything, there are trials and tribulations, but as the saying goes, you are only as strong as your weakest link.
For this young woman, it was about finding her strength in her mixed-race love story.
She shared how at first, her mother-in-law was not happy about her son marrying a foreigner, especially a black girl.
It's not easy being in any relationship, even if both people come from the same background and culture.
Because no two people are the same, which results in some bumpy roads. But Faith, a South African woman, had faith that her relationship was the real thing.
When things with her mother-in-law didn't look great, she turned to her parents for advice. Faith describes her parents as "amazing and prayerful".
And this is what we found to be so enlightening, her dad asked her one question: "Does he have your back?"
