A 22-year-old student sharing her advice about finding your passion and persevering no matter what...
We caught up with a young woman who is making waves. Not only is she inspiring, but her story is also so enlightening. She shares that sometimes we are meant to go down the wrong path, to find our true passion and calling.
Ashley Fanam, a 22-year-old from Wentworth, is a true example of finding out that sometimes we have to take a step back and reflect, because that's when we can see what we are really meant to do.
She is currently studying abroad on an exchange programme at Munich University of Applied Science in Germany. We caught up with her for a chat...
Tell us a little bit about how you got to where you are today...
How did going abroad on the exchange programme start and how did your family respond to the news?

Ashley has been in Germany since October 2021. As much as it has been difficult for her being alone in a foreign country, she has managed to find the good in her experience.
She has found out more about herself and also takes the opportunity to visit places in and around Germany. She has definitely reminded us of what it means to stay thankful throughout our circumstances and that we hold the reigns when it comes to our future...
