Life can be challenging, there is always more than one thing happening at a time, and to play juggler can sometimes leave you with some balls on the floor. Now add in being unemployed into the mix and things get way more complicated.
Well, if you are a millennial and you are a creative soul with a flare for social media, then you should definitely stick around to read this. A company called Snake Nation.io is our African Buzz feature of the week and we are celebrating their vision with you today...

In a world where we produce content on the daily and it reigns as a top entertainment form, Snake Nation has captured the most ideal way of creating employment. They have tapped into a space that allows the youth to express themselves with their most authentic voice and are coaching them into turning their skills and their creativity into a business.
As Tshitso Mosolodi, the CEO of Snake Nation for the South African branch, mentions, the rate of unemployment in South Africa is one of the highest in the world. And by creating a platform that allows the unemployed to create content and feed into their passions, Snake Nation is able to help on a national level to alleviate unemployment, whilst also building a society of entrepreneurs.
Their model of the three Ps - People, Place, and Platform, helps them to organise a system that assists people who have a creative flare but did not have the opportunity to receive a tertiary education.
In other words, how can they use social media and digital technology to help these people monetise their skills. We love the 'disruptive' manner in which they have approached content creation, their vision is about tackling issues from a township perspective to a continental perspective.
