Husband who wants Vasectomy for Valentine's: "I would like to do this for my wife"
Updated | By East Coast Radio
Just a man with a will to help his wife and his family...
If there is one thing that Carol Ofori and the team have learnt since announcing the V for Valentine's Day giveaway (well, it's more like an initiative), it's definitely that as a community there are so many people going through the most.
In this case, it's got to do with a world filled with contraceptives that create hormonal imbalance, sterility, emotional battles in wanting to become parents and being unable to in the conventional way, and so much more.

However, if there is one thing that has come out on top amidst all their challenges, it's got to be LOVE. Carol Ofori set out to help a family with their family planning, it may have started with a vasectomy, but it's evolved into a show of love amongst many couples in KZN.
Check out this man's amazing letter to Producer Rory...
"It has taken me some courage to do this, but I would like to be able to do this for my wife. Many years ago my wife and I were told that she would never be able to have kids because of the cysts on her ovaries. She was on the pill to try and reduce the cysts, however the pills never agreed with her and sent her body into “chaos”. Since then she has battled with her stomach. Fast forward 15 years and we have 2 kids, a girl (6) and a boy (2). Both pregnancies were C-section and with the second one she went into shock from the anaesthetic. The doctors rushed me out of theatre and called me back in when they had “knocked her out”. This was very traumatic for her and for me, seeing her like that. Please consider us."- Mike
