How do you respond to your child when they say they are being bullied?

Being a parent comes with making tough decisions...
There are many dreaded moments where you feel tongue tied as a parent. Because as much as the journey is priceless, it is also terrifying.
With the long list of things that make us feel terrified when raising a child, one such thing that we have touched on before is bullying.
Because as you know adults get bullied too, and that is a wormhole we can understand might be difficult to go down when it comes to your child.
It is the very reason why when we saw this video, we wanted to engage with you as to your thoughts behind dealing with bullies.
There have been both adults and kids who have approached the topic before and we love that it is not something that is being swept beneath the carpets.
But how far is too far when coaching your child on how to deal with a bully?
A question that many people tread lightly through out of fear of judgement or worse. This mother however explained herself confidently when answering a fellow mother's question on TikTok.
When asked about how you deal with someone bullying your child. This mother shared that she had been encouraging her son to not be confrontational and rather approach the teacher with the feedback.
However, nothing was being done by both the teacher and the principal. So the mother openly changed her non-confrontational view and switched sides.
She expressed how she informed the principal as to what she was telling her son to do the next time the other child aggressively bullied him.

This was the aftermath...It's important to note that this isn't always how things end. So staying informed and aware with the most child-centric approach is advisable.
