Hospital mistakenly names newborn after heavy metal band KORN!

Kelsey Tate from Seattle, Washington became a proud mum to a beautiful baby girl earlier this month. However, her happiness turned to despair when she found out that the hospital she gave birth in made a mistake with her baby's name. 

According to Metro, Kelsey was left in complete shock when she found out that her daughter is now named after the popular US heavy metal band, KORN, when in fact she wanted to name her Kora!

Kelsey mentions that there was a possibility that the hospital did check in with her while she was there but she had lost a lot of blood and canno fully remember. 

She explained on Twitter the motivation behind choosing the name 'Kora' - which stemmed from a baby book, which actually was 'Cora'.

Despite all the drama with the name, she has now submitted documents in an attempt to change her daughter's name and has received support on Twitter, with others sharing their name fail stories and also trying to find the funny in the whole situation.
