Have AKA and Cassper Nyovest finally settled their differences?
Updated | By East Coast Radio
The rapper vs. rapper boxing-match saga continues...
Back and forth, back and forth, like a game of tug and war.

That's what the tension and fighting between two of SA's biggest rappers have been like.
It seems as if the beef between these two has been going on forEVER.
And will it ever stop?

It all reached a head when AKA decided to take a page out of the YouTuber book and challenge his enemy to a boxing match.
Since then they have released their tensions on Twitter, constantly throwing insults and jabs at the other, while the boxing ring remains empty.

They have mentioned contracts and the signing of said contracts, but it seems like, even after confirming that the fight would take place, there has been little to no development since
Until things started escalating again after a tweet from @Rap_City_SA, was retweeted by Cassper.

The tweet shows the almost infamous contract for the Cassper Nyovest vs AKA fight:
Lmao. That contract is going to go back into the drawer it's been chilling in nicely for months now. That guy doesn't want to fight. I'll believe it when the signed contract is handed in. For now, ima gonna go play Fifa with Carpo and speak gugugaga with my beautiful son. https://t.co/6caK5qb1bA

Naturally, this sparked a response from the Bhovamania hitmaker.
But not exactly the response everyone was expecting:

With this response, it seems as if AKA has thrown in the towel, or has decided to wave the tiniest white flag, settling for peace instead of violence.
But then a few hours later he might have done exactly the opposite by mentioning that he allegedly did sign the contract and the reason why he still wants to fight:

Cassper chose not to hold back at all, guns blazing as always, standing behind his decision of challenging AKA:
What did I say ? Tweet deleted, tail tucked back into the ndono. All talk!!! No action!!! He wants to start fights at clubs and damage my brand that I worked hard to build so we can both suffer at the bottom. I'm not into that. Let's get in the ring, no bodyguards to save you. https://t.co/rCMfrcxG7h

It's not gonna solve anything. That guy swore at my parents and I had to take a high role as always. I need to see him, he needs to feel my wrath. I won't do it in the streets cause it'll damage my brand. I need to see him in the ring. I will never get over him swearing my queen. https://t.co/PmB2lKPDE1

And although curiosity is getting the better of us, unfortunately, we won't be finding out how much these fist-fighting rappers will be earning:

Once again it seems like fans will just have to wait and see what happens.
Will they ever get into the ring? Will they just keep subtweeting each other?
We still have the whole of 2021 to find out.
