In a
shocking turn of events, the bride married the man her
biological mother raised.
You can’t make this stuff up! A woman in China gained so much more than a daughter-in-law at her son’s wedding recently after she discovered that the woman her son married was, in fact, her biological daughter.
The wedding took place in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province in China on 31 March 31 when the woman noticed that her son’s bride had a distinctive birthmark on her hand that looked gravely familiar to the one on the hand of her daughter she gave up for adoption many years ago, the Oriental Daily reported.

The publication explains that after noticing the birthmark, the woman turned to the bride’s parents and asked them: “Did you by any chance adopt your daughter?”
Shocked by the question, the bride’s parents confirmed that their daughter is, indeed, adopted and that they had found their daughter on the side of the road – a secret that they had kept from everyone for two decades.

After the shocking discovery was made, the wedding was given the green light despite the fact that the mother of the groom was also the biological mother of the bride. After giving up her daughter for adoption, the woman adopted her son, so the pair are biologically unrelated, making the wedding legal.
The story has sent shockwaves around the world, with many shocked by the sheer luck that brought the two lovebirds together and celebrated the fact that the mother and daughter were reunited in spectacular fashion.

“This is so beautiful,” a user on social media commented. Another added: “I won’t be surprised if this was made into a movie in the next few years.”
