Groom kicks sisters out of his wedding for breaking a serious rule

The man took to social media to ask if he was being
unreasonable.
A wedding day is often one of the biggest moments in life. A lot of time and money is spent making sure that the day is perfect and that it flows just the way the bride and groom want it to be. For one man, however, his sisters ignored a strict rule he imposed on his big day, which resulted in him asking them to leave. Now, he’s turning to social media to see if he was being unreasonable or not.
In an anonymous post on social media app Reddit, a man detailed how his family “sabotaged” his big day. "We wanted a child-free wedding," he said in the post, explaining that he and his wife made the decision to let everyone know ahead of time that kids were not invited.
He adds that everyone seemed okay with the decision except for his family. The man says that he has three sisters who all have children ranging from two to ten years of age.

"My mom said it was illogical to not allow kids since (1 this never happened in the family and (2 my sisters live towns away so the kids can't be left alone," he said. After lots of arguing, the family eventually agreed to leave the kids at home.
On the big day, however, two of his sisters ignored his request and brought their kids along regardless. "I immediately went to ask what's the deal," he said. "They began arguing with me when I said I won't be letting them in with the kids. I had to get the security involved to make them leave."
That night, he got nasty texts from his sister and days
after the wedding, he tried to make things right by explaining why he did what
he did. "I asked If I allowed my sisters with their kids what message does
that send to my in-laws and friends who wanted to bring kids but they
couldn't?" the man explained.
It turns out that the man’s mom pushed the sisters to bring their kids and that "she'd deal with [him] later." The family told the man that he ruined his big day by being unreasonable and that the wedding will be remembered as a day of disaster instead of a day celebrating love. They added that the only way to get past this was to have another ceremony and invite families with their kids.

"They blamed my wife and claimed it was deliberate," he said. "They started talking to my wife trying to convince her that they don't approve of what happened and that they're giving us the chance to fix the situation otherwise the relationship is damaged. This caused me a headache and I don't think what I did was wrong. I just wanted them to have some respect for my wife and her family."
After reaching out on social media, many believed the man was right to be upset by his family’s actions. "Your wedding, you set the rules and the guest list. Kids weren’t on it. They broke the rules intentionally and they suffered the consequences. Stand your ground," one person said. Another added: "Exactly! DO NOT throw that second party, because it'll only send the message that you were wrong and they were right and you shouldn't have held a child-free wedding."
A third hinted that the problem may be bigger than he thinks. "This is about more than a wedding — your family, specifically your mother, is trying to villainise your wife and make her out to be the bad guy here. Be aware that if you don’t deal with this, perhaps by cutting off the ones who won’t stop, your wife may not be willing to put up with that treatment."
