Forever Summer: Enjoy some 'Cocktails with Carol Ofori' this festive season
Updated | By East Coast Radio
First up on the list is, Gin Basil Smash...
As part of our Forever Summer feels, Carol Ofori wanted to share some bespoke cocktail recipes with you all. Yes, things have been a bit up and down with the uncertainty that the new variant has presented, but that doesn't mean you cannot have fun responsibly.
And what better way to celebrate summer and have fun in the comfort of your home, than with homemade cocktails that have that bartender touch. So Carol got her friends from Cocktails and Caviar to help her prepare some Summer-inspired cocktails.
The first recipe she did with Connor, the mixologist, really got us appreciating the freshness of fruit and herbs that Summer brings with it. It is called a 'Gin Basil Smash' and not only did it look pretty, but it was quite refreshing, that came from the Cocktail Queen herself.
The ingredients were easily attainable and the process didn't seem very complicated. If you are a fan of Gin then this has got to be a must-try for you this Summer. Check out the ingredients and the method below.
