This father is gaining love online as he hustles with his baby on his back
What a beautiful bond between father and child...
It is quite traditional in many cultures for the mother to be the primary caregiver for children.
So while the father is usually out earning a living, the mother is the one that runs the household and sees to the kids.
But that tradition has slowly been fading away over the years, with many families becoming more and more independent of these stereotyped ways of family-ing.
Which has seen many parents switch things up in their gender-stereotypical roles.
One father by the name of Mkhumbuzi has been stirring things up on social media for being one such parent.
He was seen by a passerby, a woman who goes by the name Mamokete Lechela, while on her way to work. She saw him with his young baby strapped around his neck whilst also holding a bowl of snacks and other foods.
You see Mkhumbuzi is actually trying out a small business venture of selling foods and snacks to commuters on their way to work - and he is doing it all whilst being a present father to his child.
It is both so humbling and inspiring to see a young father being so engaged with his child.
During a month of celebrating women, we must also take time to celebrate men like this. Men who are breaking the gender specific roles that have been engrained into society.
