One of the topics that they chose to address was of course her controversial arrest in the middle of the year.
After being accused of conspiring to murder her husband, Norma has fully denied it and when once again asked about it said the following:
Like, on a serious note, it is a lie. He is lying. I don’t think there is anyone who wants to kill him. I think it is all in his head because if there was something like that, he would never leave home without bodyguards.- Norma Mngoma

That wasn't all she had to say though.
Even now during lockdown, he was driving himself. Bodyguards were paid at Luthuli House [the ANC headquarters] to drive him around but they never came home. But if your life is under threat like he portrays it, you would [have] bodyguards 24/7 and also bodyguards would never leave the house. He is imagining things. But for me to try to kill him, it is a total lie. That I can put it out there.- Norma Mngoma

But they spoke about more than just a few legal issues.
She also shared intimate details on what their marriage was like and the struggles they faced, including his alleged addiction to pornography.
It’s just that he has a problem of porn addiction because he is always watching porn. And sometimes for him it is a fantasy with those people, and those people would catch feelings and then Malusi is gone.- Norma Mngoma
Sometimes, he is too obsessed about this thing of being special — and it also comes with him thinking everyone wants to kill him. Even when he resigned, oh, when he told me that he was forced to resign, let me put it that way ... he was angry about his blue lights being removed. I never knew that he was so attached to power and so attached to all these things, and he became such an angry person because he wanted the blue lights.- Norma Mngoma

And lastly, she revealed what made her decide to end the relationship and file for divorce.
It was a lot of things. For me, it’s him not wanting to take responsibility for his actions and not wanting to be held accountable. Every time he does something wrong then he will say that it was a political campaign.- Norma Mngoma
Also, what I did not like is that each and every time when he did something, when he writes a statement, he will say 'my wife and I' without coming to me. Every time I used to tell him that this is such disrespect. I told him that he needs to be decent enough to come to me and tell me what happened, because for him it is not that he really wants a relationship.- Norma Mngoma

It also seems like this is the final step Norma had to take to try and put this all behind her and move on with her life.
She's not going to live in fear and she's made it very clear.
I am not a person who is a coward. I am not scared of anything. All of us will die one day and if that is my calling to die like that, then let it be. I am not scared of him. I am not scared of anyone.- Norma Mngoma
