ECR listener swims away with a R5k prize and swimming lessons for mahala!

The thrill surrounding their excitement and just hearing some people’s stories can get us emotional.
And in true radio style, we have the Daytime Queen, Carol Ofori, and her team, who always want to go that extra mile.

In this case, it was a listener by the name of Thembinkosi. She won R5,000 on the Carol Ofori show recently and she had the most surprising answer when asked what she would be doing with the money.
She wanted to spend her winnings on swimming lessons.
So, the team did a call out, trying to find a swimming school in KZN to sponsor her so she could spend her winnings on something else.
Of course, it all worked out when Charmaine from Aquacise in Ballito jumped on board.
