Chinese man keeps his R539-million lottery winnings a secret from his family!

The reason behind keeping it from them? He was afraid they may become lazy if they knew...
We can only imagine what it must feel like winning a multi-million jackpot. And in our imagination, we assume that we would want to share the great news with our family.
First and foremost, they would be the ones we would want to share the happy news with.
But it seems that not everyone thinks this way, which is completely bizarre to us. But as we always say, each to their own.
A man who recently won the 219-million-yuan (R539,143,800) jackpot in China has decided to keep his identity a secret.
Not just to the world, but more specifically to his wife and his child. You will never guess why though...
The man, who has identified as Mr. Li to protect his anonymity, shared that he was doing it out of fear.
"Mr Li' said he was thrilled about the win but wanted to hide his identity and keep the jackpot a secret from his wife and child.
"I did not tell my wife and child for fear that they would be too complacent and would not work or work hard in the future." (Daily Mail)
He is so serious about keeping it a secret that he went as far as to dress up in a yellow cartoon character suit to protect his anonymity.

Mr. Li admitted that he had only ever won a few dozen yen throughout the history of him playing the lottery.
He also went on to say that he donated some of the money to charity and has yet to decide what he will do with the rest.
His newfound formula was to stick to the same set of numbers each time he played. The winning tickets included the numbers, 2, 15, 19, 26, 27, and 29.
